The Principles Of The Doctrine Of ChristOur Mission
TPOTDOC… What?
TPOTDOC stands for The Principles Of The Doctrine Of Christ: the six foundation stones every new believer builds on, named in Hebrews 6:1–2.
Thank you for visiting this website! What a funny name, right? Well, I just wanted to let you know why the site is called TPOTDOC.
It’s based on a verse in the Bible, found in Hebrews 6:1–2. In that verse, the writer is talking about moving beyond these principles, which are also referred to as foundational. As I kept praying about building this reference site for new believers who are just coming to Christ, the Holy Spirit showed me these items in a new light, and that these are the best starting foundations for our faith in Christ.

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Hebrews 6:1–2 (KJV)
